“I sat with my anger and asked why it kept showing up. It said, “Because you’ve been hurt, and no one listened.”

I sat with my sadness and asked why it never left. It said, “Because I’m the love and care you never received.”

I sat with my fear and asked why it controlled me. It said, “Because I’m the part of you that’s still waiting to feel safe.”

Then I realized, these feelings weren’t my enemies. They were my wounds, asking to be seen.”

— Rumi

Your Session

A Poetic Muse Session is a unique opportunity for dedicated self-care time that honors your wellbeing.

When you purchase a one-to-one session with Pamela, you book an opportunity for your thoughts & feelings to be heard and to express life issues that are causing you stress or emotional upset. It’s a chance to release emotional energy.

This simple act of emotional release in a trusted setting is cathartic in its own right. Your session is your time to talk about whatever frustrations and anger you may be feeling, caused by relationships, pressures at work, family issues, or everyday life burdens that we all face.

Your thoughts and feelings are transposed into a Poem that reflects emotional perspectives and insights relevant to your self-growth.

The Poem’s content aids self-transformation and self-understanding, highlighting issues that may be buried or surpressed, while it serves to expand your self-awareness and reveal personal insights.

Poetry opens the heart like no other art form can by stirring emotional memories we didn’t know we had.

How it Works

  • After your online purchase, Pamela will contact you to arrange a date and time for your 30 min. poetry session. For Virtual Sessions, you’ll receive an invitation from Google Meet with the link to join the session on the confirmed date and time. For In-Person Sessions, you’ll meet at a place previously arranged.

  • In the session, Pamela serves as an empathetic ear while you share whatever’s on your mind or causing you stress. The intention of the session is for her to listen, not to advise or offer counseling. This is dedicated time for you to express and release emotional energy.

  • Following your session, Pamela will transpose what she learned into a Poem that reflects new emotional perspectives on the thoughts and feelings you shared during your session.

Pamela will send your poem by email as a PDF file, beautifully typeset and suitable for framing.

  • After you’ve had time to read and reflect on your poem Pamela will contact you within 5 days to schedule your Follow-Up Chat.

Your follow-up chat is your opportunity to share the emotional impact and insights the poem had on you and it gives you a chance to ask questions for deeper understanding and clarity.

In Lorraine’s Fashion

To what all cometh & goeth

Comes a day of reckoning

When all things rise up

And release their hold

On our hearts

It is in these moments

When the world seems most

Upside down and unabiding

To our will

That we span the scale of time

To arrive exactly where we were

Always meant to be

So scale this chasm

That presents itself

And ride the storm

In the true fashion

That only Lorraine can do

And Do, Be, and Thrive

As the true warrior you

Have ultimately become.

Client Poems & Testimonials

Wayward Winds

Oh, from whence we

come and go

no Soul shall know

yet we move forth

in quarried circles

mining the lost

sifting the shifting

sands of time

I know not

what comes today

or goes tomorrow

I only know that it does

Is this enough to carry

my day, my time

away from treasured loves?

I know not

I can only say in the here & now

I am that I am

and all things come

as they were so intended

either in rash response

to life’s soliloquy

or in some form otherwise

intended to ignite my awareness

Fervid and True

as I hope love to be

I sway in tune

with life’s Eternal breeze

as it too comes …

and goes.

Where Do I Go Now

It is not for the faint of heart

to treasure my path to

New Horizons

though I try at will

to lead the charge

I fail to master owning

my way forward

For I am and remain

at life’s bountiful mercy

prodding & guiding

this way and that

but without the sense

of KNOWING the True Path forward

I grasp, and thus capture, but pure air

at my feet

to which I fall unabated by life’s Call

Where do I go now,

I ask the deep, veiled place

of my Being

Where do I go now ...

In solitude I rest

and remain hidden from the crowd

where all else can be seen

and heard

I remain silent to the touch

of the one thing I claim

most of all

My sense of Self-Worth

It is the sole remaining

part of me no one can touch

but LIFE itself.

Testimonials:

I love it! It made me cry. It reflects the conversation we had, so I can see where you’re coming from and understand the meaning.”  — L. Joyce, FL

“Your poem and reflections are spot on about me! I have been "searching, wondering, waiting" for many of life's questions to be answered only to find out I had the answers all along. And yes, with "head held high" I continue to go forward in life being the warrior I am of my own destiny.
Your analogy of my life is depicted so clearly and yes, accurately about me! I have endured many "fields of grace" and resolve to continue a life of strength, grace, determination, and perseverance. You captured my spirit in your kind and insightful words.” —
C. Pace, VA

"I love it! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I enjoyed reading it and reflecting upon the experience. The design and colors both caught my eye and attracted me in, as well." — Chris, MD
